Denise Winmill School of Dance was founded in 1982 and provides expert tuition for children and senior students, from 3yrs to 18 yrs, training in classical ballet, jazz and tap dance.

Classes take place in a safe, happy and structured environment.  The highly qualified teachers encourage students to gain grace and strength, as well as developing their confidence, self-discipline, musicality and a joy of dance.

Classes are held at Long Ditton Village Hall, near Surbiton, in light and airy studios with sprung floors and barres.

Isabel Sprackling
We are delighted to announce that Isabel Sprackling has successfully auditioned and gained a place at The Arts Educational Vocational School in Tring, starting in September. Isabel also attends the Senior Associate program at The Royal Ballet School.   We will miss her very much, but wish her all the very best for the next stage towards her future dance career.

Lydia Walker
Has Successfully gained a place at Trinity, Laban Conservatoire of Music and Dance in London.  Lydia has been a pupil at the school for many years.  Completing all of her RAD ballet examinations with exceptional results.  She has shown great performing skills in all our school productions and will be sorely missed.   We wish her every success with her future training and dance career.

Thomas Sprackling
Is a Junior Associate at The Royal Ballet School.  Tom is a joy to teach, and passionate about his dance classes.  The JA program gives him a great opportunity to take classes with likeminded  boys.  He has been chosen to take part in this seasons “A Winter’s Tale” with The Royal Ballet Company at The Opera House, a wonderful experience that will always remain with him.  He is working hard towards his RAD Grade 2 ballet examination.

Our Adult Ballet classes continue to thrive, it is a wonderful way to forget the hectic daily timetable, and to keep fit and strong in the most graceful way. Click here for more details.
